At the Department of Literature in Estonian (Estonia pst 8)  you can program LEGO WeDo2, LEGO Spike and Matatalab robots.

LEGO Spike kit is meant for children aged 10+, LEGO WeDo2 robots for children aged 7+, and Matatalab kit for children aged 4+.

In order to program robots you should book a time in advance. You can book a time via e-mail: laste@nulltln.lib.ee or phone: 683 0914.

If no-one is using the devices, you can use them without prior reservation.

I order to use LEGO WeDo2 robots you have to be Tallinn Central Library’s patron.


At Kännukuke Library (E. Vilde tee 72) you can program Matatalab, EdisonLEGO WeDo2, LEGO Spike, Quirkbot and Bee-bot robots, and play with Strawbees and Makey Makey invention kits.

LEGO Spike kit is meant for children aged 10+, Edison and LEGO WeDo2 robots, Quirkbot robots and Makey Makey invention kits are meant for children aged 7+. Strawbees are meant for children aged 5+, Matatalab kit for children aged 4+, and Bee-bot robots for younger children aged 3+.

In order to program robots and play with the invention kits you should should book a time in advance via e-mail: kannukuke@nulltln.lib.ee, phone: 683 0951 or at the library. You can book the robots and invention kits for maximum one (1) hour. If there is no queue, you can extend the booking time.

Since robots are used in robotics classes, they are not always available to use.

At Nõmme Library (Raudtee 68) you can play with Strawbees invention kits and program Quirkbot robots.

Using Strawbees you can make bigger or smaller mechanical objects (Strawbees are meant for children aged 5+). With eduational robot Quirkbot you can make interesting and developmental light, movement or interactive projects (Quirkbot is meant for children aged 7+).

At Paepealse Library (P. Pinna 8) you can program Ozobot Bit and Ozobot Evo robots.

Ozobot Bit and Ozobot Evo are the smallest programmable educational robots in the world. They are meant for children aged 6+.

In order to program robots and tell tales using them you should book a time in advance via e-mail: paepealse@nulltln.lib.ee, phone: 632 7463 or at the library.

If no-one is using the devices, you can use them without prior reservation.
