The Instrument-lending library is the Music and Film Hall’s (Estonia pst 8) collection of musical instruments and devices. Most of the items in the collection are available for homelending. The digital piano and the drums are for in-house use only.
Homelending of musical instruments
Borrowing musical instruments and devices is free of charge.
You can borrow up to 2 musical instruments and 3 devices at a time.
Organizations that have signed a travelling library service contract with the Tallinn Central library can borrow up to 10 instruments and devices for 63 days.
All instruments need to be used according to their maintenance instructions.
Loan periods
Full-sized musical instruments are lent home for 21 days. The loan can be renewed up to 3 times.
Small-sized musical instruments for children are lent home for 84 days without the possibility of renewals.
Percussion and Orff instruments are lent home for 14 days without the possibility of renewals.
Additional devices and the metro-tuner are lent home for 14 days without the possibility of renewals. If a metro-tuner is lent home along with a musical instrument then its’ due date will match the musical instrument’s due date.
